St. Monica Parish

Established 1887

Welcome to St Monica Parish!  We extend a warm welcome to our parishioners, new parishioners and all guests of St. Monica's.
We invite you to contact us if we can be of service to you in any way.

The Diocese of Burlington will welcome Christopher James Coyne as its tenth bishop
in two unique Catholic rites, January 28-29.

On Wednesday, January 28, at 7 p.m., the evening prayer service will begin with the new bishop’s three knocks on the main door.  This ritual marks a new bishop’s first entrance into his cathedral — the church so named for being the site of the cathedra, his seat as head of the diocese.  This service is open to the public, and will also be nationally televised via the CatholicTV cable network, as well as livestreamed through the diocesan website,

The following day – Thursday, January 29, at 2 p.m. – marks the official launch of Bishop Coyne’s ministry with his Installation Mass at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.  Due to the Co-Cathedral’s need to accommodate guests representing the entire diocese, attendance at the Installation Mass is by ticketed invitation only. The liturgy will be nationally televised via the CatholicTV and EWTN cable networks, as well as livestreamed through the diocesan website,

To watch either the Prayer Service or the Installation Mass, simply click this link - - which will bring you to the Diocese of Burlington's website where you will be able to connect to the livestreamed broadcast.
